Feeling Festive for the Fourth

It’s almost the 4th of July! Can you believe it? June has flown by and I am loving the gorgeous summer weather. This week has been a busy one for me as I transitioned to working remotely with my company. It happened quite unexpectedly and I am so excited to have this new opportunity. It brings with it a whole new work dynamic and routine and I’m enjoying the flexibility of it all. By day two I realized how important it is to put on real clothes and shower before starting work. On my first day I spent the whole day in pajamas and I definitely don’t want to get myself into bad routines. It has only been a few days but I’m loving it so far. I know so many of you work remotely- do you have any tips to share for making and keeping a work routine?

With the craziness of starting a new job, I’ve been a bit slow to solidify my plans for the 4th of July. All I know is that I plan to be by the water somewhere, whether it be with my family in ND or friends in MN. I can’t go wrong with either place! With the holiday coming up I’ve been eyeing some festive red, white, and blue pieces to get in the spirit of American pride. Tularosa always has the cutest summer staples and this dress screams summer bbq. After seeing straw totes dominate the blogosphere I have been looking for the perfect one- this might be the one! There are just too many cute pieces that I’m eyeing– I can’t get enough! Summer is by far my favorite season to buy clothes for.

Here are a few of my favorites for getting festive this 4th of July weekend. You won’t disappoint in any of these cuties!
