This girl is SO over winter and SO looking forward to spring! I know, it is only mid January, but with the temperatures being below zero in Minnesota this week I turned to my Pinterest page for a sunnier (and less white) color palette.

I am drawn to bright colors- especially pinks, blues, and greens- and I believe that surrounding oneself with brightness causes one to exude brightness. One blogger that I admire for not only her personal style but the way in which she creates her photography’s aesthetic is Victoria Smith of SF Girl By Bay. I follow her religiously and much of my Pinterest page reflects my similar love for her preferred color palettes. Her work makes me happy and literally brightens up my day.

If you also live in a colder climate, how do you keep your spirits up in the winter? I daydream endlessly about warmer places and always have a trip in the making to break up the winter months. Until then, I inspire a sunny disposition by surrounding myself with color and and creating my own beautiful aesthetic.
